I have always considered myself to be an ethical consumer, supporting small business and pro-purpose brands, but it wasn’t until this year that I was inspired to be more mindful about the ingredients in my daily use cleaning and beauty products. My findings opened my eyes to a whole new world of wellness, and I’m excited to share with you a little bit about what I learned to help inspire and empower you to live the healthiest lifestyle possible!
Most people, myself included, assume that the companies we buy our daily products from are considering our health and wellness, but this is simply not the case – unfortunately, toxins and carcinogens that are scientifically correlated to major health concerns are legally hidden in consumer products. Why you ask? This is the result of the American government’s lack of regulation. Sadly, big corporations, politicians and government agencies are more focused on their own political and monetary interest rather than taking care of the publics health.
The good news is that we live in the technology age with information at our fingertips, and there are so many completely safe and natural products in the market, that will leave you feeling healthy and happy inside and out. Sharing with you all some of my favorite natural products below!
